As promised, I'm pleased to present to you a little preview of rbChron v2.0. This version of rbChron is a port from the TKinter to the QT toolkit via the pyQT bindings. There are a few tweaks to the code that won't affect the end user, but makes my job a little easier. It is important to note, however, that this particular release probably won't have any new features in it. The focus was to move the program to the new toolkit in order to facilitate my interest in QT and to have the wide variety of tools available to me. As soon as this port is complete, I plan to focus on finishing out the feature list.
The new QT based GUI looks quite a bit like the old one. Here is a side-by-side
view of both the old and the new interfaces.

As you can see, there isn't much difference visually between the two. Everything is in the same place
as the previous version. One difference I would like to draw your attention to is the fact that the
new interface now follows your current theme. I use the Plastik theme under KDE on Linux. Now, rbChron
will look like a native app on Linux, Windows, or OSX. Here are a few more shots with different themes.
